Book Club
Oprah's book club idea has caught on in our neighborhood...with 6 and 7 year-old boys! 4 boys and Ben meet every Wednesday at a different house, read their book to the group, swap books for the week, enjoy a treat, and then play together for a while. We were hosting for this, the 2nd week, and it was a lot of fun to watch the boys have fun with their reading.

WOW! From one teacher to another we know how cool this is! I love, love, love it! Boys and books! Whose idea was it to start the cool club?
You should email Oprah to let her know what you started. A boys book club, I think that would be a great story for her to talk about! : )

Look at those cute little bookworms! It's hard to imagine there was at least as much reading as there was giggling and bodily noises!
I was telling my kids about the dictionary story and they were peeing their pants. The book club is adorable...
