Good Excuses

I've got plenty of good excuses for not blogging lately. I've repainted my entire house, shuffled all of the boys rooms and closets around, gotten ready for a huge garage sale and have made and frozen meals for the next 5 weeks.

Or maybe it's because baseball season has begun (the Twins and the boys), Brian and I are both training for a 1/2 marathon, the weather's been nice so we've been outside a lot lately, and school gets really busy this time of year.

Stealing Her Thunder

Holly introduced me to Biscoff spread, but she hasn't blogged it, so I must! If you're a fan of peanut butter, you have got to try this.

The boys and I sat around the island eating it out of the jar. Delicious!!

Cake Boss

I have a student who loves the show "Cake Boss" and whose mom is a flight attendant. Put these two things together, and you have a 4th grader who flies to New Jersey for the day, visits Carlo's Bake Shop, and brings back an authentic "Cake Boss" cannoli just for me! Yum!

Spring Break

We're on our 3rd week of spring break here. The boys were first, Brian was the following week, and I'm this week. Luke and Adam are home with me all week since daycare is also on break this week. We don't have big plans, but just being able to be home and choose how I want to spend my days is nice.

Today I shampooed my living room carpet, spent time outside helping Adam ride his bike without training wheels, did laundry, threw dinner in the crock pot, made my first-ever healthy smoothie, and now I may take a quick snooze while Adam watches a show and Luke naps. Oh, a day in my life is so exciting!
