MN Zoo

The farm babies have arrived at the MN Zoo, so on Good Friday we took the boys, and the rest of the metro area had the same idea as well, and headed out to the zoo.  The older boys were a bit reluctant, but we convinced them to have a good attitude and to try to enjoy watching Luke soak it all in.  They were good sports.

A bank was offering stuffed animals (just what we need at our house!) if you opened accounts.  We'd been thinking about moving some accounts around, so Brian went ahead and got a horse for everyone. Ben is playing up the sarcastic excitement perfectly!

Eventually we eneded up giving Ben's horse to a little girl, who was beyond thrilled to get a surprise gift!

More Spring Break

MN Twins baseball can't come soon enough for this crew!

We enjoyed a perfect day outside for building snow sculptures.  The snow wasn't rolling into snowballs for snowmen, but it could be formed into blocks using an old plastic pail, so we made a fun fort in the front yard.

Brothers being brothers!  Rob put some snow blocks in front of the garage, which Brian proceeded to drive over.

I suppose one day these brothers will be doing the same thing!

Spring Break

Sometimes juggling three different school districts can be tricky, and other times it works out pretty well.  This year, Brian and the boys all had Spring Break the same week, and I was the following week.  Brian's brother, Rob, and his mom were in town for part of the week, so they found lots to do and enjoyed their time off.

These pictures are from their first weekend together.  I was home with a napping Luke, and Adam was at a birthday party, so it was fun for Matt and Ben to have some alone time with Dad, Grandma and Uncle Robert.

On a frozen Lake Calhoun, visiting with some people who were hoping to do some ice gliding.
