As I always say, I can't believe how fast time is moving. Ben is 12. In a year we will have a teenager in the house. We are so proud of him and how he's adjusted to middle school. He recently got his first quarter report card, and we're thrilled to say he's on the 4.0 Honor Roll! He was also recently named one of two 6th graders in his school as a "Student of Honor" and had a poster-size picture of him and a description of the type of person he is hanging in the main hallway.
We love you, Ben!
Opening a gift from Holly's family. They were giving him cash, which he asked for, but used a baby boy gift bag.
Inside the gift bag was a toilet paper tube.
The toilet paper had been "used", and Ben had to pull it out to get to the cash inside. A perfect way to wrap a 12-year old boy's gift!
Snuggled up with Nana in his new electric blanket.
That's starting to be a lot of candles!
He took this picture of his actual birthdate and time.
Ben moving through our Spanking Machine. It is a birthday tradition.

Happy Birthday officially on the blog, Ben!
For the record, Uncle J was in charge of wrapping Ben's present this year. And for the other record, that was chocolate.
