We're finding that the lazy days of summer aren't always so lazy when you've got a house of 3 boys and both parents home all summer! We do have our days of lounging around, but our summer has been busy, even though we didn't have any big trips this year. We end up having a lot of impromptu playdates and sleepovers at our house, but honestly, that's what I've always wanted. When we bought our house 7 years ago, the openness of it appealed to me and I remember saying to Brian, "Can't you just see a crew of junior high boys in the basement with pizza boxes all over?" Brian and both like giving our kids the opportunities to have friends over, but like knowing the kids well and knowing what is going on.

You guys always seem to have a big gang over...love it.
The last picture of Ben made me laugh out loud because that's so him. And sucking your eyelid with a vaccuum is such a natural 3rd choice after friends and computer time.
