Washington D.C.

Ben had the chance to travel to Washington D.C. for 4 days with 40 students from the district.  He had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, and we were so excited to send him on his way.  He had a great time and rated the trip 10 out of 10.  I got as much detail as you would expect from a 13 year old boy, but I know it was an experience of a lifetime for him!

I've chosen several of his favorite pictures to share.  I'm looking forward to putting together a photo book for him so he'll have these memories to look back on forever!

Jack and Ben

En route!

We updated the flight tracker frequently.

It's official!

Remember...he's 13!  Fortuantely he didn't buy it.

He didn't buy this either.

Such a great trip! So glad he was able to go. Cracked up at the phone pic. Can't wait to see the book you make. Good idea.

Great pics and so glad it was a good time. I was cracking up at some of the pictures too. And seriously!! WHY ...more like, HOW...do all those kids have fancy phones like that? Good grief. I'll look forward to seeing the full book and torturing more details out of him.

What a great trip! My personal favorite was the retelling of throwing up at the Jefferson Memorial (and the White House too, if I remember correctly). You were such a trooper - I bet Ben loves that piece of his story.
