My Dad is almost 7 years into Alzheimer's Disease. It is a cruel disease that we all despise. However, there are plenty of things we are thankful for. Dad continues to be patient, kind, loving and easy-going. Mom is his primary caregiver and has sacrificed so much so that Dad can continue to be at home. There are loving caregivers who come to be with Dad while Mom works. A few days a week Dad goes to Open Circle, an adult daycenter, that he enjoys going to and interacting with other people. We cherish the time that we get to spend with Dad!

Holly took Dad on a day trip this past spring and captured this picture of Dad doing something that he's always loved!
We recently met Dad and a caregiver at the library to watch a fantastic magician!
