A Big Week for Matt

As Matt wraps up his elementary school years, he's had a busy week.  He played in his first band concert, and it was amazing how good they sounded after only 1 school year of playing together.  I didn't try to record the concert, but I did get a quick shot before the concert.

His first ever karate tournament was a great success for him, and fun for our entire family to watch.  It's similar to a gymnastics meet, in that there are a few different events going on at once.  For Matt to perform his karate form in front of judges alone, and through the distraction of the other activity going on, was impressive to see!
