Christmas Tree

We have been cutting our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving since I was pregnant with Ben.  I think there has only been one year we missed.  We love this tradition, and it means so much more than any Black Friday deal!

We usually head out with Holly's family and our parents.  The joke is that it takes our family the longest to decide on a tree, and this year was no different.  The other families found and cut their trees before we decided on ours.

Once we got ours cut and brought home, we had a fun, relaxing time decorating.  That hasn't always been the case!  Sometimes hanging the lights is enough to make me not want to get a tree ever again!  Things went smoothly this year and everyone participated in the decorating.  It was some nice family time together.
